K-9 Sperr was a male German Shepherd born in April 2006. He is named after Trooper Andrew J. Sperr who was shot and killed in the line of duty on March 1, 2006. K-9 Sperr was trained in narcotics, tracking, and handler protection. His abilities have helped make numerous arrests and drug seizures. He was intimidating but a puppy at heart.

When not on duty K-9 Sperr loved to be home with his family. His hobbies were playing fetch and relaxing on the couch with his family.
